LIU expands European platform
Liberty International Underwriters Europe (LIU Europe), a division of Liberty Mutual Group, said it has appointed Mike Nukk to lead the expansion of its marine portfolio in Europe and the Middle East.
Nukk , who was formerly the underwriting manager of LIU in New York, will report to Richard Pursey, Head of Exploration, Production and Marine for LIU Europe.
Sean Rocks, LIU Europe’s chief executive commented: “We have not underwritten marine business out of London before (outside of our Lloyd’s Syndicates) and this move enables us to provide a comprehensive product range across the marine and energy sectors.”
